The Good Friday Walk for Hunger and the Homeless will take place on Friday, April 15, 2022. The walk will begin at 10:00am at St. Gregory. Your generosity will continue to help House of Hope which serves the needs of those in our community in need of a hot meal and a warm bed. Last year, as a result of the COVID-19 health situation and related social distancing, we got off out feet and took the road raising money for hunger and homelessness in a vehicle parade throughout Apponaug. This year,  as the state seems to be reopening, following a two year hiatus of sorts, we are planning on once again taking to the streets via a foot parade. It is being planned for Apponaug Village, departing from and completing the walk at Saint Gregory. The walk is tentatively scheduled to be completed by 1:00 pm. A light meal and re-freshments to follow. Please look for sign-up sheets this coming weekend in the Gathering Space.
