The Gabriel Project falls under the ministry of St. Gabriel's Call, a program coordinated by the Office of Life and Family Ministry of the Diocese of Providence. It reaches out and supports women and their families, especially women who are pregnant and in need of physical, emotional, and spiritual assistance during and beyond their pregnancy. It is a confidential intervention program.  Additional  information about St. Gabriel's Call on the Diocese of Providence website Support During Pregnancy or emailing [email protected]. 

St. Gregory the Great "hosts" a baby shower once a year, usually on Mother's Day weekend. A notice  with a brief description of St. Gabriel's Call and a wish list of baby items is published in the bulletin.  Boxes are provided in the gathering space that weekend and then the items are delivered to the coordinator of the Office of Life and Family ministry for the Diocese of Providence. More information about St. Gregory the Great's Gabriel Project may be obtained by emailing [email protected]
