Altar Servers are a very special group of young people and adults in the Parish who have answered God’s call to ministry. Altar Servers perform very important tasks to assist the priest and deacon during the Mass and at other special liturgies.
Youth Altar Servers must be at least entering the 4th grade in school. All Altar Servers participate in a series of formation sessions to prepare them for their duties. The Altar Servers then serve for a time with a peer-mentor until they are comfortable in their role.
